Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of financial statements, maintain financial records, reconcile bank statements, and support overall accounting operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records

• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable

• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Help prepare financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents

• Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, or internal departments regarding financial transactions

• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or previous experience in an accounting role

• Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards

• Willingness to pursue CPA or other relevant certifications
