Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Indore. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting department by managing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.

• Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank statements.

• Support audits and internal control procedures.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Perform ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Experience in a similar role or internship.
