Taxation Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Associate to assist in the preparation and filing of Form 1120 (U.S. Corporation Income Tax Return). Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing supporting schedules, handling book-to-tax differences, and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Form 1120, 1040 and related schedules (M-1, L, M-2, etc.)

• Assist with depreciation (Form 4562), officer compensation (1125-E), and COGS (1125-A)

• Review trial balances and financials for return accuracy

• Support tax extensions and estimated payments

• Maintain organized tax workpapers and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

• 6 Months –2 years of U.S. corporate tax experience

• Basic knowledge of IRS rules and Form 1120

• Familiar with Excel and tax software (CCH, UltraTax, etc.)
