Data Entry Executive

Job Summary:

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely project completion. They collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables. The role involves analysis of project progress, identifying risks or delays, and recommending corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on schedule status and variance analysis.

• Forecast and analyze schedule performance to identify potential risks or delays.

• Implement project controls to track cost, resources, and schedule integration.

• Coordinate with various departments to ensure schedule alignment across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

• Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of progress claims and extension of time (EOT) claims.

• Perform "what-if" analysis for potential changes or disruptions to the project plan.

• Maintain project documentation and schedule records in an organized manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling (typically 0–1 years or more).

• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [industry-specific sector, e.g., construction, oil & gas, infrastructure].

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP).

• Knowledge of cost control, resource planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
