Job Title: Data Entry Operator
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing data across various systems. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and precision in entering data from various sources into the appropriate digital formats or databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Inputting data from paper documents, digital files, or other sources into specified computer systems or databases.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data entered.
Reviewing and verifying data for errors and correcting inconsistencies.
Organizing and maintaining files and records in both physical and electronic formats.
Performing regular backups to ensure data integrity.
Managing and organizing data to ensure easy access and retrieval.
Preparing reports, documents, and summaries from entered data.
Collaborating with other departments to clarify any discrepancies in data.
Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate or equivalent; additional qualifications or certifications in data management or IT is a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and other data management software.
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
