Data Operator

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in MS Office, excellent typing skills, a good understanding of bookkeeping, and clear, legible handwriting. As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for managing office tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth data entry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate computer systems and office equipment efficiently to input data, process information, and produce reports.

• Perform data entry tasks accurately and timely, ensuring information is correctly entered into databases and software.

• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and reports using MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records, invoices, receipts, and other related documents.

• Process, track, and organize records and files in a systematic manner.

• Manage and organize correspondence, ensuring that all documents are appropriately filed and retrievable.

• Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.

• Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials for distribution.

• Ensure that all data and documents are kept confidential and secure.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.

• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.

• Excellent handwriting with attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and handle several administrative tasks simultaneously.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in bookkeeping or computer operations is a plus.

• Prior experience in data entry, office administration, or bookkeeping is an advantage.
