MIS Executive

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated MIS Executive with expertise in Power BI to manage, analyze, and present data in a way that drives business insights. The ideal candidate must possess advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Power BI, and a strong background in data management. This role is key in supporting management decision-making through the preparation of accurate and actionable reports. The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to track business performance, trends, and key metrics.

• Analyse complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and translate them into actionable business recommendations.

• Collaborate with various departments to understand reporting needs and deliver custom solutions in Power BI.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure high-quality and accurate reporting.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance to senior management.

• Ensure the integrity and consistency of data by implementing best practices in data governance and data quality control.

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and generate custom reports based on business requirements.

• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Offer training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding of Power BI tools and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

• Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and reporting best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable manner.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and understand their reporting needs.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in creating automated reporting processes and integrating Power BI with other business tools.

• Familiarity with other data visualization and BI tools is an advantage.

• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis.

• Previous experience in an MIS, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence role.
