Job Title: Accountant

Job Overview:

An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. They play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of a company by handling bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and balance sheets.

Prepare financial statements such as income statements and cash flow reports.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.


2. Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Stay updated on tax laws and financial regulations.

Assist in audits and provide necessary financial documentation.


3. Budgeting & Financial Analysis:

Develop and manage budgets to control company expenses.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Provide financial advice to management for strategic decision-making.


4. Payroll & Expense Management:

Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursements.

Monitor company expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.


5. Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Collaborate with auditors and financial institutions.

Present financial findings to senior management.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally).

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Strong communication and reporting abilities.
