Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Pickup Driver to join our solar manufacturing company. The driver will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished solar products, and equipment to and from designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and pickup. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety for both the goods being transported and the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive a company vehicle (pickup truck) to transport raw materials, solar panels, equipment, and finished products to and from different locations.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of materials between the manufacturing plant, warehouses, and external suppliers or customers.
Verify the correctness of deliveries, including checking and securing goods loaded onto the vehicle.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage, fuel consumption, and any related paperwork (e.g., invoices, receipts).
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition (e.g., checking fluid levels, tire pressure, cleanliness).
Assist in loading and unloading of materials when required.
Follow all traffic laws and company guidelines to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Communicate with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and supervisors to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or delays immediately to the management team.
Handle all solar products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
Ensure goods are properly secured in the vehicle to avoid shifting or damage during transport.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or delivery setting.
Ability to drive a pickup truck and load/unload materials as necessary.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking oil levels, tire pressure, etc.).
Ability to safely operate a vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically capable of handling loading and unloading of materials.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
