The Event Operations Manager ensures that all operational aspects of an event run smoothly. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing event logistics, supervising on-site teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires excellent time management, teamwork, and attention to detail to deliver high-quality event experiences.
Develop and implement event operations strategies
Coordinate venue bookings, permits, and vendor contracts
Oversee event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and equipment setup
Ensure all event elements (staging, lighting, sound, branding) are set up correctly
Work closely with suppliers, caterers, decorators, security, and technical teams
Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services
Maintain strong relationships with key event partners
Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown
Oversee event staff, volunteers, and crew to ensure smooth operations
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event
Ensure guest experience is seamless and satisfactory
Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations
Manage emergency procedures and crisis response plans
Obtain necessary permits and insurance coverage
Work within budget constraints to optimize resources
Track expenses and ensure cost-effective event execution
