Job Summary
As a Business Development Officer (BDO) in the cosmetics industry, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and creating new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on client acquisition, increasing sales volume with existing clients, and expanding product offerings. You will also be involved in market analysis and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & New Client Acquisition: Identify and approach new clients through various channels such as cold calls, emails, and networking events. Focus on building a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Client Creation: Onboard new clients by introducing the company's product range and understanding their needs to provide customized solutions.
Client Coordination & Retention: Increase Sales Volume: Regularly engage with existing clients to explore opportunities for increasing sales volume. Promote Product Diversification: Encourage existing clients to purchase a broader range of products from the company to enhance their business and increase order volume.
Market Research & Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for business development.
Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving or surpassing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent growth and revenue generation.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through effective communication, follow-ups, and by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback. Provide regular updates to the management team on performance and market trends.
Location: Candidates based in Raipur are preferred.
Work Background: The ideal candidate should have a work background in one of the following industries: Cosmetics, Food, Confectionery, Household Items, Imitation Jewelry, Baby Care, Stationery etc:
Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general trade, with proven experience in business development or sales in relevant industries.
Qualifications:
Graduation (any field)
Salary: 30k to 35k per month.
