Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services while providing expert technical support to potential customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Provide pre-sales support, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
Work closely with the sales team to generate and follow up on leads.
Technical Expertise:
Offer in-depth technical knowledge and expertise on products and services to customers.
Conduct product training for customers and internal teams as required.
Answer technical queries and resolve product-related issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
Proposal Development:
Assist in creating proposals, quotes, and technical documents to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the solution is feasible and meets the customer’s requirements.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue sales leads.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Post-Sales Support:
Support customers after the sale by ensuring smooth implementation of products and services.
Follow up with customers to ensure successful product integration and resolve any issues.
Market Research:
Keep up to date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
Provide feedback to the product development team to improve products and services.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Alternatively, relevant technical certifications may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
