Field Sales Manager

A Field Sales Executive in the Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) industry is responsible for generating leads, converting them into sales, and managing relationships with existing clients within a specific geographical territory. They also provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation and Sales:

  Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales. 

• Customer Relationship Management:

  Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction. 

• Technical Expertise:

  Provide technical knowledge and product demonstrations to clients, helping them understand the benefits of RMC. 

• Sales Target Achievement:

  Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company. 

• Territory Management:

  Focus on a specific geographical territory, managing sales activities and relationships within that area. 

• Reporting:

  Report to a Regional Sales Manager, providing updates on sales progress and market trends. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Communication and Persuasion: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are crucial for building relationships and closing sales. 

• Sales Experience: Experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry. 

• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with RMC products, their applications, and benefits. 

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction processes and the use of concrete. 

• Driving Skills: For field sales roles, having a driver's license and own vehicle may be required. 

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with some roles preferring a bachelor's degree, especially in a related field like engineering or business.
