Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending events or exhibitions.
Research and analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
Sales Presentations & Product Demos:
Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to present product offerings and demonstrate their benefits.
Customize product solutions to meet the specific needs and requirements of customers.
Sales Negotiation & Closing:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals while ensuring profitability for the company.
Follow up with leads and prospects to convert opportunities into sales and secure long-term customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and support.
Address customer concerns and questions, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any issues promptly.
Market Analysis & Competitor Research:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments to effectively communicate the value of offerings to clients.
Sales Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager or Regional Sales Director, detailing progress towards sales targets, customer feedback, and market insights.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to align on sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
Provide feedback to the product team regarding customer preferences and market trends.
Travel & Territory Management:
Travel within your designated territory to meet with clients, visit prospects, and attend events or conferences.
Plan and manage your schedule to maximize sales opportunities and ensure efficient territory coverage.
Experience:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a field sales or direct sales role.
Experience with sales in [industry-specific experience, e.g., retail, healthcare, technology, etc.] is a plus.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse clients.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
