JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Field Sales)

1. Customer Handling:
 Identifying the opportunities and sending the commercial proposal to the customers
for new product orders.
 Handling cold calls, sales.
 Having price negotiation with the customers.
 Having price negotiation with vendors for additional discounts.
 Handling joint calls of customers, vendors, internal business unit.

2. Follow-up with Purchase Team:
 Getting the purchase order, pricing, op’s and sending it to the respective purchase
team.
 Monitoring the purchase team to follow-up with the customers and get the
appliances and software licenses.
 Following-up with the purchase team for billing of invoices for customers.
 After installation then collecting of payment follow-ups with the purchase team.
3. Product Training:
 Attending of product training at regular intervals.
 Conducting product training for the internal sales team, if required.
 Learning of new products and technologies.
 Having monthly one product certification which is mandatory.
 Helping ISR for sizing the product.

4. Meetings & Reporting to management:
 Maintaining customers daily calls report.
 Submission of weekly reports to the Reporting manager and Director.
 Attending daily meetings with the sales manager and two weeks once with the Director.

5. Other Responsibilities:
 Coordinating inside sales business development executives for follow-ups.
 Must achieve the targets every quarter.
  Any other work as required by management from time to time.
 Fieldwork is also involved- to meet customers whenever required.
