The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. This role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing spaces according to company or industry standards.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Change linens, make beds, and restock toiletries in rooms.
Dispose of trash and waste properly.
Follow safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean environment.
Use and store cleaning supplies appropriately.
Monitor and report low stock of cleaning supplies.
Refill and replace toiletries, towels, and other essential items.
Operate cleaning machines like vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
Ensure proper use of chemicals and cleaning agents.
Report maintenance issues and damages to supervisors.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
Attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks.
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not required).
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
