Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Dog Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and enrichment of dogs in our facility or in-home services. This role requires a deep love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all dogs in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and provide fresh water according to each dog’s specific dietary needs and schedule.

• Take dogs for regular walks and ensure they get appropriate physical and mental stimulation.

• Bathe, brush, and groom dogs as needed, including nail trimming and basic hygiene maintenance.

• Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or stress and report concerns to management or owners.

• Administer medications as prescribed by owners or veterinarians.

• Clean kennels, play areas, and other facilities to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.

• Provide companionship, affection, and positive interaction to support dogs’ emotional well-being.

• Handle multiple dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments in a calm and confident manner.

• Maintain accurate records of feeding, activities, health issues, and behavioral notes.

• Communicate regularly with pet owners or supervisors to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in dog care, animal shelters, kennels, or pet sitting (preferred).

• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, cleaning, and standing for extended periods.

• Basic understanding of dog behavior and care techniques.

• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift - 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
