Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations at the resort. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept in pristine condition to meet the luxury standards of our resort. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, spa, poolside, and recreational facilities.

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry personnel.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are upheld.

• Handle daily scheduling, shift planning, and task delegation to housekeeping staff.

• Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest room amenities; ensure timely procurement and proper storage.

• Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experience and quick turnaround of rooms.

• Respond promptly to guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and urgency.

• Uphold and enforce resort hygiene standards, safety protocols, and environmental sustainability practices.

• Maintain accurate records of staff performance, room status, and inventory levels.

• Train staff on grooming standards, cleaning techniques, and guest interaction etiquette.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a resort or luxury hotel, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

• Eye for detail and a passion for cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetics.

• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and resort housekeeping trends.

• Familiarity with housekeeping software and room management systems is a plus.

• Physically fit and able to handle resort-scale property inspections.
