Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer with expertise in hardware and
networking to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of
providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining
networking infrastructure. You will work directly with end-users to resolve technical issues
and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and network connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktop, hardware, and networking
issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and escalate issues when necessary.
Perform system upgrades and ensure timely patch management.
Ensure network connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues.
Assist with network setup and configuration, including routers, switches
Document support activities and maintain an updated inventory of hardware and
software.
Provide end-user training and support on various systems and software.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in desktop support, hardware, and networking.
Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows ).
Hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with active directory, VPN, and security protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
