Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: - Site IV Greater Noida, U.P
Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities:
A Laboratory Technician in a nutraceutical company is responsible for conducting tests, analyzing raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. They work closely with the Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and R&D teams to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
1. Sample Collection & Testing
Collect and prepare raw material, in-process, and finished product samples for analysis.
Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological tests to ensure product quality and safety.
Conduct tests for moisture content, pH, viscosity, density, and microbial contamination.
2. Quality Control & Assurance Support
Assist the QC team in monitoring batch consistency and product stability.
Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards.
Support investigations of product deviations, contamination, and non-conformities.
3. Equipment Operation & Maintenance
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FTIR, and titration equipment.
Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
4. Documentation & Record-Keeping
Maintain accurate records of test results, sample logs, and laboratory reports.
Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for raw materials and finished goods.
Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, deviations, and corrective actions.
5. Compliance & Safety
Follow all safety protocols, hygiene standards, and laboratory procedures.
Dispose of chemical waste according to environmental and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in regular safety audits and training sessions.
6. Research & Development (R&D) Support
Assist R&D scientists in developing and testing new formulations.
Conduct experimental trials on new ingredients and blends.
Provide analytical support for stability studies and shelf-life testing.
7. Supplier & Raw Material Testing
Verify the quality and purity of incoming raw materials from suppliers.
Conduct identity, potency, and contamination tests on botanical extracts, vitamins, and minerals.
Work with the procurement team to resolve raw material quality issues.
Requirements:
· Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
· Experience: 1-3 years in a laboratory setting.
