Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000/month

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring safe and accurate prescriptions, and supporting doctors and nurses with drug-related queries and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper dosage and administration.

• Review and interpret prescriptions to detect any potential errors or interactions.

• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage.

• Maintain stock levels of medicines and ensure proper storage as per standards.

• Check expiry dates and ensure disposal of expired or damaged medications.

• Coordinate with doctors and nurses regarding medication availability and alternatives.

• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, bills, and pharmacy operations.

• Follow infection control and hospital safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).

• Registered with the Pharmacy Council.

• 2–3 years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting.

• Strong knowledge of medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
