About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Advocate with a strong background in media and entertainment law. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of post-qualification experience and a proven track record of handling legal matters within the media, broadcasting, or digital content space. You will be responsible for advising on a wide range of legal issues including content licensing, intellectual property, contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to media production, content licensing, distribution, talent agreements, and service arrangements.
• Advise on legal aspects of content development, including intellectual property rights, copyright, defamation, and privacy issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable media laws, broadcasting regulations, and industry standards.
• Liaise with internal departments (production, marketing, digital, etc.) to provide legal guidance throughout the content lifecycle.
• Manage legal disputes and represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging legal trends in the media and entertainment sector, especially in digital and OTT platforms.

Key Requirements:
• LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, with significant exposure to media and entertainment law.
• Strong understanding of Indian IP law, broadcasting regulations, and digital content policies.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:
• Prior work with media houses, production companies, or law firms with a media law practice.
• Exposure to OTT, digital platforms, or advertising legal frameworks.
