Real Estate Legal Consultant Responsibilities:-
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and vetting of various ongoing business-related contracts such as tenant related documents/agreements, service agreements, lease agreements, maintenance agreements, leave and license agreements, settlement agreements, vendor contracts, master services agreements, consulting agreements and managing related compliance such as registration of the Lease Deeds
• Drafting of letters, legal notices and their responses.
• Record keeping and ensuring effective management of contracts.
• Assisting in compliance's with corporate, SEBI, employment and other applicable laws.
• Legal Advisory through legal research into business operations of the company and on new laws and/or law applicable to the company. Research in relation to case laws and other legal issues.
• Coordinating with external lawyers in relation to company's ongoing litigation, arbitration's and keeping, maintaining and updating records of all such litigations, arbitrations etc. in a timely manner.
• Conducting and managing due diligence's of properties involving land records.
• Proactively partnering and working with internal departments to improve and scale all aspects of the contract drafting and negotiation
Real Estate Legal Consultant Requirements:-
• Bachelor’s degree in law (essential).
• Strong experience in real estate law and industry knowledge that includes litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
• Good understanding of foreclosure.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Capable networker with excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
