• Set up and operate VMC machines
• Program parts in 2D and 3D
• Verify machine settings and program control data
• Post 3D programs to the machine
• Set controls and regulate speed, feed, coolant flow, and angle of cut
• Work with raw materials like aluminum and steel
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and work instructions.
• Load and unload work pieces, ensuring proper alignment and securing them in place.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machine attachments.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut for optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations and inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (e.g., micrometer's, veneers, caliper's, gauges).
