Dental Assistant

Our Dental Clinic is seeking a friendly, dedicated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining a sterile and organized environment, and helping deliver exceptional care to every patient.

You will assist in clinical tasks, sterilization, and administrative duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient dental experience for both patients and the dental team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas

• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)

• Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients

• Ensure infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment

• Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist

• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for patients

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques

• Familiarity with dental software and digital x-ray systems (preferred)

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude

• Ability to work well within a team

• Basic computer skills

• Dental Assistant Certification (preferred, but not always required)
