We are looking for an OHC Nurse to join our dynamic team. Job Overview: The OHC Staff Nurse is responsible for providing immediate medical care to employees, managing first aid and emergency medical situations, conducting medical examinations, and supporting the Factory Medical Officer in maintaining health and safety standards within the workplace. The position requires a trained and certified medical professional who is well-versed in basic life support, emergency response, and handling medical audits in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Emergency Medical Assistance:  Provide first aid and medical assistance to employees as required. Offer immediate attention to medical emergencies at the workplace. 2. Collaboration with Medical Officer:  Work in close coordination with the Factory Medical Officer to ensure the smooth operation of OHC activities. 3. Medical Examinations:  Perform and assist in conducting various medical examinations, including pre-employment, periodic, and six-monthly medical checks as per statutory requirements. Ensure proper documentation and follow-up. 4. Audits and Compliance:  Be trained and actively participate in any medical audits within the organization. Ensure all procedures and records comply with health and safety regulations. 5. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Emergency Response:  Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in Basic Life Support (BLS), Acute Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and emergency medical procedures. Be prepared to respond to any medical emergencies on the factory floor. 6. Inventory Management:  Conduct monthly inventory checks of medical supplies and medicines, preparing purchase orders for restocking. Maintain records of medicines issued and received, and prepare a monthly report on inventory and usage. 7. First-Aid Box and Ambulance Survey:  Perform regular surveys (fortnightly) of first-aid boxes across factory locations and the ambulance. Ensure proper inventory control and maintenance of these items as per checklist standards. 8. Medical Records and Documentation:  Independently conduct medical examinations for contract workers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records. Assist the Factory Medical Officer with the half-yearly medical examination of company associates. 9. Maintaining Standards:  Ensure proper grooming, hygiene, and attire (including covered footwear and a clean apron) while on duty. Promote a professional appearance at all times. 10. Availability and Shifts:  Work in rotating shifts (Morning: 7 AM - 3 PM, Afternoon: 3 PM - 10 PM, Night: 10 PM - 7 AM) with internal adjustment for shift changeovers. Be available on-call in case of emergencies during off-hours. 11. Unmanned OHC Protocol:  Ensure that the OHC is never left unmanned during duty hours, unless attending to an emergency requiring transport to an empaneled hospital. 12. Reporting and Coordination:  Report to the Head of EHS and complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management to support health and safety operations. Educational  Certification in Nursing or as a Medical Assistant from a recognized institution. Experience  setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
