Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care:

   • Assist with daily personal hygiene.

   • Help with positioning, turning, and transferring the individual to ensure comfort.

   • Coordination with attending Nurse on duty for medication and monitor any changes in health conditions.

2. Mobility Assistance:

   • Assist with the use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, lifts, or walkers.

   • Help with transferring the individual from bed to chair or other areas as needed.

3. Meal Preparation and Feeding:

   • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met. 

   • Ensuring that dietary requirements are met as per the medical condition requirement

4. Household Assistance:

   • Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the individual’s care, such as laundry, bed-making, and room tidying.

   • Ensure the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the individual's comfort and needs.

5. Medical and Health Monitoring:

   • Monitor vital signs and physical conditions, reporting any concerns to healthcare providers or family members.

   • Accompany the individual to doctor’s appointments and assist with follow-up care as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in caregiving or personal care assistance, especially for individuals with mobility limitations.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Empathetic, patient, and able to provide emotional support.

• Familiarity with assistive devices such as wheelchairs and lifts.

Additional Skills:

• Experience working with individuals who have specific healthcare needs is a plus.

• Ability to manage time effectively and follow a set routine.

• Attention to detail and strong observation skills to notice any changes in the individual’s condition.
