Job Description: HR Manager – Driver Recruitment
Job Overview:
The HR Manager – Driver Recruitment will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for car drivers. The role involves managing a team of recruiters to source, screen, and onboard drivers from both existing databases and the open market. The HR Manager will work closely with the sales team, clients, and verification agencies to ensure smooth recruitment, background verification, and compliance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management & Recruitment Execution:
Lead and manage a team of recruiters to identify and onboard car drivers.
Develop recruitment strategies to attract drivers from multiple sources (existing database, referrals, job portals, field recruitment, etc.).
Ensure recruiters meet hiring targets and maintain a pipeline of drivers as per business requirements.
2. Coordination with Sales Team & Clients:
Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements for driver hiring.
Ensure recruitment aligns with the parameters set by clients in agreements.
Coordinate with clients for driver interviews and selection processes.
3. Background Verification & Compliance:
Ensure timely background verification of selected drivers through verification agencies.
Maintain records of verification reports and follow up on pending verifications.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to driver hiring.
4. Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with the HR team to streamline recruitment and onboarding processes.
Maintain strong communication with clients regarding driver availability and selection updates.
Coordinate with verification agencies for timely processing of driver background checks.
5. MIS & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain recruitment reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly hiring status.
Generate MIS reports on recruitment performance, verification status, and driver onboarding.
Analyze recruitment data to optimize hiring strategies and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in blue-collar hiring.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with background verification processes.
Strong analytical skills for MIS reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in MS Excel, HR software, and recruitment tools.
Good communication skills in English and local languages.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of drivers recruited per month.
Time taken for driver onboarding.
Percentage of drivers verified on time.
Client satisfaction with recruitment process.
Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.
