Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing the HR department, implementing HR policies and strategies, ensuring smooth employee relations, handling recruitment, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role will ensure that HR activities support organizational goals and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment of talent.
Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication between staff and management.
Address and resolve employee grievances, complaints, or disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Organize employee engagement activities to promote workplace satisfaction and retention.
Performance Management:
Implement and manage the performance appraisal system, ensuring regular feedback and evaluations for employees.
Work with managers to set clear performance objectives and conduct performance reviews.
Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for employee development and training.
Training and Development:
Identify employee skill gaps and recommend training and development programs to enhance employee performance.
Coordinate internal and external training programs to improve employee skill sets.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and assess their impact on performance.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking and pay structure design.
Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Ensure the company’s compensation and benefits packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
Compliance & Legal:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
Stay updated on labor laws and ensure HR policies are in line with legal requirements.
Maintain employee records, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and confidential.
Handle the preparation and submission of necessary reports, such as tax forms and employee data reporting.
HR Strategy & Policy Development:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and values.
Revise and update HR policies and procedures as required to ensure they reflect the company’s needs and compliance.
Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies that promote organizational growth and workforce effectiveness.
HR Administration:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth processes related to hiring, termination, payroll, and benefits administration.
Manage HR software systems and ensure efficient data management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Proven ability to manage recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
