Job Brief
We are seeking an organized, efficient HR Support Officer. In this position, you will assist with all HR-related tasks and provide administrative support to the HR department of our client.
HR Support Officer responsibilities include managing employee records, organizing and updating files, and preparing reports as needed.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, familiar with HR functions and understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
Ultimately, the HR Support Officer should be able to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications.
Provide clerical support to all departments to maintain efficient operations.
Supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
Maintaining up-to-date employee records and processing documentation related to HR activities such as hiring, terminations, and leaves of absence
Responding to HR-related inquiries and requests from employees and managers.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
Assisting in the resolution of any HR-related issues or conflicts
Qualifications
Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
Good computer skills (MS Office, in particular).
Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communications skills.
Degree/experience in Human Resources or related field is preferred
Experience of working with UK clients/UK HR process will be an advantage
