Responsibilities:
Accurate Calculation and Payment:
Calculating and processing employee wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, etc.) accurately and on time.
Payroll System Management:
Maintaining and utilizing payroll software to track and manage payroll data, ensuring data integrity and system upgrades.
Data Collection and Input:
Gathering and inputting payroll data, including timesheets, employee information, and salary adjustments.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll-related laws, regulations, and company policies.
Tax Compliance:
Preparing and filing payroll-related tax returns and reports, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source).
Employee Benefits Administration:
Administering and managing employee benefits, including enrollments and changes.
Payroll Records Management:
Maintaining accurate and updated records of all payroll transactions.
Communication and Problem Solving:
Employee Inquiries:
Addressing employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll, providing timely and accurate information.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies and errors promptly and accurately.
Communication with Stakeholders:
Collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and processes.
Report Generation:
Generating payroll reports and analytics for stakeholders, including tax filings, benefits deductions, and other required reports.
Process Improvement:
Identifying opportunities to streamline payroll processes, implement automation, and enhance overall efficiency.
Confidentiality:
Maintaining confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information
