Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth, developing distribution channels, managing a sales team, and achieving revenue targets in the assigned region. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, team leadership, and relationship management with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.

• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance revenue growth.

• Distributor & Retailer Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

• Monitor stock levels, ensure proper supply chain management, and optimize product availability.

• Team Leadership & Development:

• Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance their performance.

• Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct competitor analysis and understand market trends.

• Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably in a managerial role.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision-making.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
