Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Reports to: Senior Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales and managing customer relationships within a specified region. This involves actively prospecting, presenting products/services, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with customers, and the determination to drive sales results in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Generation: Actively seek new business opportunities and generate leads through direct contact with potential clients.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients by offering excellent customer service and support.

• Product Presentations: Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, providing detailed product information and demonstrations.

• Negotiation & Closing Deals: Present sales proposals, negotiate prices and terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.

• Reporting: Track sales activities and results using CRM software, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and forecasts to the Sales Manager.

• Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to product/service improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies and ensure the effective promotion of products/services.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role in sales, preferably in field sales.

• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• High level of motivation and target-driven.

• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 12 th std or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (optional).

• At least 12 months of experience in field sales or a customer-facing role.

• Experience in industry-specific knowledge or product knowledge is a plus.

Salary:

• Base Salary: ₹22,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month (depending on experience and location)

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role requiring frequent travel within the assigned region.

• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules.
