Job description of SSO (Sales Support Officer)
Role and Responsibilities of SSO:
The Sales Support Officer is responsible for conducting workshops and training sessions for various organizations, providing pre and post-purchase training to customers, and managing defined territory. The role also involves managing a team of ISDs and ensuring their attendance, grooming, and training.
Ø Conducting Workshops and Training Sessions: The SSO is responsible for conducting workshops and training sessions for media houses, corporates, institutes, photographer associations, and photography studios. They need to have a strong background in conducting these sessions and should be able to create and deliver effective training materials.
Ø Pre and Post-purchase Training: The SSO should be able to provide pre and post-purchase training to customers, clearing their doubts and enriching their hands-on experience. They need to ensure that customers are satisfied with the product and have a good understanding of its features and functionalities.
Ø Managing Manned and Unmanned Outlets: The SSO should visit the market to monitor the competition's activities and manage both manned and unmanned outlets. They need to ensure that the outlets are well-stocked and managed efficiently.
Ø Managing ISD Attendance and Leave Management: The SSO is responsible for managing the attendance and leaves management of the ISD team. They should ensure that the team is present at the right time and place and manage their leave requests.
Ø Grooming and Training of ISDs: The SSO should groom and train the ISD team on the product and smart application. They need to provide training on the product features, specifications, and benefits, and how to sell the product effectively.
Ø Pushing ISDs for Sales: The SSO should motivate and push the ISD team to sell the product effectively. They should pass on the relevant information with respect to incentives and other products related to encourage the team to achieve their sales targets.
