Position Overview:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at our company, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and enhancing the company’s presence in the shipping and trade industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the shipping industry, trade activities, and market dynamics to deliver strategies that drive growth and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the shipping and trade industry. Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring the company remains competitive.
Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis of the shipping industry and trade trends to develop actionable insights that support the company’s growth strategy.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, including sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
Client Engagement: Engage with key clients, understand their business needs, and provide customized solutions that align with their requirements. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record in the shipping industry.
Strong knowledge of shipping, logistics, and global trade activities, including understanding of international shipping regulations, trade agreements, and customs procedures.
A degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
