Designation: - Loan Consultant 

Job Description

·         Calling customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals.

·         Maintain an active knowledge base of all of the organization’s loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant.

·         Identify and recommend products that meets the customer’s needs and the organization’s lending guidelines.

·         Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process along.

·         Utilize professional judgement to determine which potential borrowers represent good risk opportunities for the organization.

·         Reviewing applications to determine if they meet all qualifications, such as income levels or credit scores.

·         Negotiating loan terms with borrowers and other parties to the transaction, such as banks or title companies.

·         Reviewing loan applications to ensure that all required information is complete and accurate.

·         Coordinating appraisals and inspections of collateral for loans involving real estate.

·         Reviewing loan documents to ensure that all legal requirements have been met Coordinating with third party service providers such as appraisers, lawyers, or insurance agents as needed.

·         Managing relationships with lenders and other partners in the lending process.
