Job Summary:

The Field Relationship Manager in the Direct Channel at Canara HSBC Life Insurance is responsible for acquiring new customers, building relationships, and driving sales of life insurance products through direct engagement with clients. The role involves proactive lead generation, client servicing, and achieving sales targets while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

• Identify potential customers and generate leads through various sources.

• Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance products.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

• Ensure smooth onboarding of customers and policy issuance.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Provide post-sales service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Educate customers about policy benefits, claim processes, and policy renewals.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the management.

• Provide feedback on customer preferences and demand trends.

4. Compliance & Process Adherence:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and documentation.

• Follow up on policy renewals and minimize lapses.

Key Requirements:

1. Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Graduate 

• Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience in life insurance, financial services.

 . Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in sales approach.

• Good negotiation and persuasion skills.

• Basic understanding of life insurance products and financial planning.

3. Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.

• Familiarity with digital tools for lead management and reporting.
