Sales Head - Manpower Vertical
Job Summary:-
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Head to lead our Manpower Vertical, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in the staffing, recruitment, and workforce solutions sector. The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong client relationships to meet and exceed business targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the manpower industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the manpower vertical, focusing on staffing services, workforce outsourcing, and recruitment solutions.
Identify new market opportunities, including emerging industries and geographic regions, to expand the client base.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
Revenue Growth and Target Achievement:
Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for the team and ensure consistent performance to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Drive business development efforts to secure contracts with corporate clients, SMEs, and large enterprises requiring manpower solutions.
Monitor sales metrics, prepare forecasts, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management for strategic planning.
Team Leadership and Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team capabilities in client engagement, negotiation, and deal closure.
Oversee performance evaluations and implement incentive programs to motivate the team.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their workforce needs and offering customized manpower solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of services post-sale.
Business Development and Networking:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote services and establish thought leadership in the manpower sector.
Develop partnerships with industry associations, HR forums, and other relevant stakeholders to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while meeting their expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, operations, and HR teams to align sales efforts with service delivery and promotional campaigns.
Provide insights from the field to support the development of new manpower offerings or improvements to existing services.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the vertical’s P&L (profit and loss), ensuring cost-effective operations and sustainable growth.
Contribute to budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for the sales team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the manpower, staffing, or recruitment industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of workforce solutions, recruitment processes, and labor market dynamics.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in the manpower sector.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to drive decision-making.
Networking: Established network within the HR, staffing, or corporate sectors is a plus.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software sales tools, and workforce management platforms.
