Position Title: Head of Sales – Domestic India Market (B2B Jewellery)

Mission Statement:
To lead and scale B2B jewellery sales across the Indian market by executing a phased growth strategy, developing high-value client relationships, and managing a regionally distributed sales force. The goal is to build a robust and sustainable revenue base across India.
Sales Milestones:
Year 1: ₹75 crore
Year 2: ₹125 crore (cumulative)
Year 3: ₹250 crore (cumulative)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute national sales strategies tailored to regional markets.
Ensure achievement of annual and quarterly targets aligned with the 3-year growth plan.
2. Key Account Development
Build and maintain long-term relationships with 10+ large national corporate accounts.
Onboard and grow 20+ regional corporate accounts across India.
3. Territory Leadership
Drive market penetration across all zones: North, South, East, and West.
Identify and prioritize high-potential territories for deeper investment.
4. Sales Team Management
Recruit, lead, and mentor a strong team of regional sales managers and field executives.
Implement structured KPIs, reviews, and team development programs.
5. Merchandising Collaboration
Coordinate with merchandising and design teams to ensure product-market fit.
Provide region-specific inputs to enhance assortment planning.
6. Client-Centric Approach
Leverage deep customer insight (business model, financial strength, behavior) for effective sales strategy.
Customize offerings based on individual customer profiles and preferences.
7. Market Innovation
Solve region-specific sales challenges through innovative thinking.
Introduce scalable sales initiatives and pilot programs.
8. Responsiveness & Agility
Monitor market trends, competition, and macroeconomic changes.
Rapidly adapt sales execution based on real-time developments.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in B2B jewellery sales, including 3+ years in a national or multi-region leadership role.
Territory Expertise: Strong understanding of regional buying behavior across Indian markets.
Network: Pre-existing relationships with leading corporate buyers and key distributors.
Team Leadership: Proven ability to build and manage distributed sales teams.
Results-Oriented: Solid track record of exceeding sales targets and expanding market share.
Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is an added advantage.
Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of jewellery merchandising, sales cycles, and institutional trade practices.
