We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on providing exceptional travel planning and booking services, with a strong emphasis on domestic destinations within India and building strong relationships with local hotels and other tourism providers. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, creating customized itineraries, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.Responsibilities:Client Consultation:Meet with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and specific requirements for domestic trips. Itinerary Planning:Develop detailed and personalized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities, focusing on domestic destinations. Hotel & Accommodation Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of various hotel properties, including amenities, pricing, and suitability for different types of travelers. Relationship Building:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with hotel representatives and other tourism providers in key domestic destinations. Booking and Reservations:Make reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and other travel services, ensuring accurate and timely bookings. Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the travel planning process. Sales and Revenue Generation:Achieve sales targets by effectively promoting travel packages and services to clients, focusing on domestic destinations. Industry Knowledge:Stay up-to-date on the latest travel trends, destination information, and industry regulations. Problem Solving:Handle unforeseen problems and complaints effectively, finding solutions to ensure a positive travel experience for clients. Documentation:Ensure all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, are in order. Data Management:Maintain accurate and organized records of client information and travel bookings. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or a related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent, with a strong focus on domestic destinations. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of domestic travel destinations, attractions, and travel-related services within India. Skills:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Proficiency in travel booking systems and software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Languages: Fluency in Hindi and English is required; additional languages are a plus. Travel Experience: Personal travel experience within India is a significant advantage.
