As the VP of Sales and Growth, you will be responsible for driving sales, setting priorities, expanding capability, building a world-class team, and delivering on ambitious revenue goals. You will work with Spareshub’s executive team to set the long-term growth strategies and guide the company’s growth trajectory to new heights.
The incumbent should be a sales champion with proven track record of excelling in organizational growth, and successfully leading, implementing process improvements across various functions and locations.
Key deliverables
· Sales volumes, key account management, market share, customer expectations, network expansion, profitability, analytics projection, legal compliances and team building.
· Achieving corporate sales objectives by driving growth through the usage of different marketing channels and cross functional co-ordination.
· ROI measurement of various sales and marketing activities and communicating the same to the management.
· Evaluate and own the end-to-end operations that will include sales & marketing, supply chain process, payments, delivery etc.
· Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
· Focus on continuous improvement to achieve service, efficiency and profitability.
Growth Planning
· Own and deliver the outcome - prospect conversions and spearheading various sales projects across functions to drive growth across various cities.
· Marketing plan, business projections (anticipating the trend and future planning), budget planning and tracking achievements vs. targets.
Stakeholder Management
· Responsible for building and managing relations with key clients and establishing large volume, high profit accounts with excellent levels of retention & loyalty.
· Lead negotiation and help define contract terms and service level agreements with customers (contract management).
· Designing and setting up various promotional activities, loyalty programs. Working closely with sales and vendor teams to drive trade discounts etc. and drive growth.
· Managing expectations of various stakeholders - customers, business, sellers, technology and operations etc.
· Conduct business reviews/implementation updates to ensure success and appropriate progress.
Leadership and Communication
· Lead, empower and direct the sales team and establish sales targets as per business plan. Help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets, follow –up on work plan.
· Responsible for taking strategic initiatives. Planning for long, medium- and short-term business schedule for the department.
· Team building and performance management for enabling resources fulfil their potential and contribute in business growth.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
· Should be self-driven and work independently; this is very important.
· Competent in leading and directing the sales operation. Should possess deep marketing insight and understanding of primarily B2C & B2B sales, operations.
· Run, manage and grow a significant work stream in an existing part of the business, or in something being built from scratch.
· Must be able to work in a startup, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and should enjoy a target driven culture, get motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
· Ability to inspire, motivate, influence and engage subordinates and peers: ability to develop and manage high performance teams.
