Security Guard

1. Access Control

   • Monitor and control entry and exit points.

   • Ensure only authorized personnel, patients, and visitors are allowed.

   • Issue visitor passes and log visitor details.

2. Patrolling

   • Conduct regular patrols inside and around hospital premises.

   • Check for any suspicious activity, unsecured doors, or safety hazards.

3. Emergency Response

   • Respond promptly to emergencies (fire, code blue, etc.).

   • Help in evacuations and assist staff during crises.

   • Report emergencies to appropriate authorities.

4. Monitoring CCTV and Surveillance Systems

   • Observe activities through cameras to detect security breaches.

   • Review footage in case of incidents.

5. Protection of Staff, Patients, and Property

   • Ensure the safety of doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.

   • Prevent theft, vandalism, or damage to hospital property.

   • Stop aggressive behavior or disturbances in sensitive areas like ICUs or emergency rooms.

6. Assisting with Patient Handling

   • Help in managing violent or psychiatric patients safely.

   • Escort patients or visitors when required.

7. Enforcing Hospital Rules and Regulations

   • Ensure visitors follow hospital rules (e.g., visiting hours, restricted areas).

   • Handle and report rule violations calmly and firmly.

8. Reporting and Documentation

   • Maintain daily activity logs.

   • Report incidents, accidents, or suspicious behavior in writing.

   • Cooperate with law enforcement when needed.

9. Traffic and Parking Management

   • Manage hospital parking lots.

   • Assist with ambulance access and ensure clear passageways.

10. Customer Service

• Provide directions and assistance to visitors and patients.
