Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning:
• Install new elevators, escalators, and moving walkways as per company and industry standards.
• Perform wiring, control panel setup, and alignment of mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure safe and smooth operation.
Maintenance & Repairs:
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep lifts in optimal condition.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Replace defective parts and upgrade systems when necessary.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety procedures while working at heights or confined spaces.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Customer Service & Documentation:
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and maintenance schedules.
• Provide guidance to customers on proper lift usage and safety measures.
• Maintain service reports and document completed work for company records.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to lifts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
