Job Description (JD) – Fire Safety Service Executive

Role Name: Fire Safety Service Executive

Job Purpose:

The Fire Safety Service Executive is responsible for inspecting the health and functionality of fire safety equipment, particularly fire extinguishers. The role involves ensuring timely maintenance, building rapport with clients, and securing repeat sales and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) orders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct client site visits to check the status of fire safety systems.

2. Ensure that fire extinguishers and other safety equipment are in proper working condition.

3. Inspect the physical condition and functionality of the fire safety systems and report if repairs or maintenance are required.

4. Fill out a work report sheet after inspection and submit it to the service manager on time.

5. Update daily/weekly work reports in Google Sheets.

6. Have basic knowledge of operating fire safety systems (e.g., extinguishers, alarms, hydrants) and operate them when necessary.

7. Maintain professional communication with clients and collect feedback.

Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

1. Basic knowledge of fire safety systems, including installation, functionality, and operation.

2. Basic understanding of electrical systems.

3. Ability to write reports and enter data in Google Sheets.

4. Understanding of different types of fire extinguishers and safety equipment maintenance procedures.

Soft Skills:

1. Strong communication skills in Hindi and basic English.

2. Professional behavior and confidence in client interactions.

3. Problem-solving skills and timely reporting ability

Additional Requirements:

1. Must be able to operate fire safety systems when needed.

2. Should be physically active and punctual for regular site visits.

3. Must coordinate with the service manager and provide timely updates.

4. Basic knowledge of fire safety training and demonstrations.

Qualifications:

1. ITI or Diploma Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical).

2. Basic computer knowledge.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Must have a bike with a valid driving license and insurance.

2. Must own a smartphone.

Salary:

₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month.
