Job Title: Godown Dispatch Coordinator

Department: Warehouse Operations

Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager

Location: Radha Wines Godown Bhiwandi


Job Overview:

Godown Dispatch Coordinator would be responsible for the coordination of warehouse operations, ensuring timely dispatch of orders, and coordination with transporters to ensure that orders reach the destinations promptly. This job involves supervision of import dispatches, inventory management, and office coordination to ensure that all the functions are conducted effectively. The individual needs to possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.

Major Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

Supervise the daily warehouse operation to ensure optimum storage, handling, and organization of wine products.

Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishing stock.

Maximize storage space for easy accessibility and retrieval of products.

Order Dispatch & Coordination:

Manage and supervise the order dispatch to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Prioritize and prepare dispatch schedules, focusing on above TAT orders for immediate dispatch, ensuring no pending above TAT orders.

Oversee the import dispatch process, working with customs, freight companies, and partners for seamless and on-time deliveries.

Transporter Coordination & Delivery Timeline Management:

Coordinate directly with transporters to schedule and confirm delivery timelines.

Monitor transporters to ensure they meet defined turnaround times (TAT), resolve any issues or delays, and proactively manage delivery timelines.

Track progress in delivery, address potential delay causes, and work to ensure least impact to customers.

Office Coordination & Documentation: A liaison between the warehouse operations and the office and management staff should maintain effective order processing.

Ensure proper preparation and filing of required documents, which includes invoices, packing lists, and delivery receipts. Maintain an accurate record of dispatches, inventory movement, and the delivery status

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure that all warehouse operations meet the health, safety, and regulatory standards especially with alcohol-based products.

Implement and monitor compliance to industry regulation that ensures safe and legal warehouse operations.

Customer Support:

Follow up on delivery receipt by the customer and settle any issue about packaging, transportation, or damage goods.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years in warehouse management, dispatch coordination, or logistics, preferably within the alcohol, beverage, or FMCG industry.

High School Diploma; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain management will be beneficial.

Strong organization and multitasking capabilities

Good Communication skills for team collaboration with Internal teams and with external partners.

Warehouse Management system and Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word).

Ability to work under pressure and be able to quickly solve operational problems. Strong focus on detail and problem-solving.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent customer service focus.

Detailed with drive toward accuracy and operational efficiency.

Work Environment:

This is requiring hands-on warehouse management.

There will be times when some physical work will be required such as assisting the inventory check and packaging.

There must be flexibility in working hours, especially in peak seasons or in urgent dispatch needs.
