HR Recruiter

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring, for freight broker positions.

• Develop effective strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, such as job portals, social media, and employee referrals.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and create job descriptions accordingly.

• Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.

• Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for ongoing and future talent needs in the freight broker domain.

• Handle offer negotiations, onboarding processes, and orientation for new hires.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations throughout the hiring process.

• Prepare and maintain recruitment-related reports for management review.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in sourcing, screening, and recruiting techniques, specifically within the freight brokerage or logistics sector.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates and team members.

• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR tools.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple roles simultaneously.

• Basic understanding of freight broker operations and industry terminology (preferred).
