Inventory Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets.

• Perform regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure that stock levels match records.

• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies or products to avoid shortages or overstock.

• Ensure that inventory is stored correctly and is accessible when needed.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage deliveries, returns, and exchanges.

• Develop and maintain inventory reports, including stock movement, discrepancies, and forecasts.

• Assist in the preparation of inventory audits and ensure adherence to internal inventory control policies and procedures.

• Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to plan and manage stock requirements.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and recorded quantities.

• Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize waste, reduce loss, and improve efficiency.

• Manage expired or obsolete stock and ensure it is disposed of or returned as required.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of goods.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.

• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, or other relevant tools).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to identify and address inventory discrepancies.

• Basic understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., APICS, ISM).

• Experience with barcode scanning and RFID systems.

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
