Picker / Loader

Job Title: Picker Loader
Department: Warehouse/Logistics
Location: Chennai
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Picking:

   • Select and pick products from shelves in the warehouse based on order specifications (manual or automated system).

   • Ensure correct quantities and products are picked.

   • Verify product quality and condition before packing.

2. Loading:

   • Safely load products onto trucks or shipping containers according to the shipping plan.

   • Ensure proper stacking, securing, and organization of items in the truck to prevent damage during transportation.

3. Inventory Control:

   • Assist with stock rotation and monitor inventory levels.

   • Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the supervisor.

4. Safety Compliance:

   • Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.

   • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.

5. Efficiency:

   • Meet or exceed established productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

   • Use handheld devices, scanners, or systems to update inventory and order statuses.

6. Team Collaboration:

   • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

   • Assist in training new employees as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics roles preferred.
