Job Title: Store Keeper & Central Kitchen supervisor
Location: Central Kitchen, Gatti Chutney
Reports To: Operations Head

Key Responsibilities:
Store Management:
• Indent Handling:
• Prepare and process daily indents for outlets as per their requirements.
• Issue accurate delivery challans and coordinate with the delivery team.
• Purchasing and Vendor Coordination:
• Place purchase orders with vendors based on requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve any supply issues promptly.

Inventory Control:
• Monitor and maintain minimum order quantity (MOQ) levels for all stock items.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are strictly followed to minimize wastage and maintain product freshness.

Software Updates:
• Accurately record all purchases, deliveries, and stock movements in the inventory management software.

Central Kitchen Supervision:
• SOP Compliance:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure the kitchen team follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure all food production meets Gatti Chutney’s quality standards and timelines.

Hygiene and Cleanliness:
• Conduct regular checks to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and guidelines.

Team Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact (POC) between the kitchen team and the Operations Head.
• Address any operational issues in the kitchen and escalate unresolved matters to the Operations Head.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or kitchen supervision.
• Previous experience in the food & beverage or hospitality industry is a plus.

Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic MS Office tools.
• Effective communication and team coordination skills.

Knowledge:
• Understanding of FIFO practices and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, vendor management, and stock handling.

Additional Expectations:
• Available to address kitchen or store-related issues during working hours.
• Willing to take ownership of central kitchen operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to managing store and kitchen challenges.
