Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental team and provide exceptional support to our dentists and patients. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for preparing patients, assisting during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments, suctioning, and handing over tools.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are ready.
Take and process dental X-rays following safety guidelines.
Educate patients about oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Mix and prepare dental materials such as cements, impressions, and fillings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
Administrative Duties:

Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Manage patient flow and ensure efficient operation of the dental office.
Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, costs, and insurance claims.
Coordinate with the front desk team for billing and payment processes.
Monitor inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA or RDA) preferred.
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
Familiarity with dental software and office equipment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:

Certification in radiology or X-ray technology.
CPR and first aid certification.
Experience in specialized areas like orthodontics or periodontics.
